nothing goes as planned...
plan to change your plans...

I thought about majoring in Art in college... for about 2 seconds.
I didn't see the value in borrowing student loan money to be taught how to be creative... and the whole "starving artist" thing deterred me.
Instead I majored in engineering... no, not the train conductor kind... the kind that involved ridiculously complex theories, equations, and homework problems that took over an hour to complete (just one problem...). Lots of calculus, physics, science, sleepless nights, and coffee... ok, and alcohol... They aren't just handing out engineering degrees- nearly 50% of engineering students are said to drop out, change majors, or move down by the river in a trailer from "engineering burnout". I enjoyed "Thermodynamics" so much that I took it twice...
Remember who the last engineer-artist was? Neither do I...
It wasn't until my life spiraled out of control that I regained control. Through several serendipitous events, I was reunited with my passion for creativity. The universe told me to do this. Now before you label me as crazy, may I remind you, that you are only crazy until you're right... My work isn't focused on extreme detail or realism (we have cameras now if you want that...). My focus is on the meaning, the idea, the emotion that I try to convey.
I wish I was good at football or rapping too... but I'm not, use what ya got.
